The Texas Christian University Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is responsible for  all follow-up investigations of crimes and/or incidents originating on the Texas Christian University Campus.   The Criminal Investigation Division also assists other police agencies with their investigations when a member of the TCU community is or becomes involved in an investigative matter.

                                                                              Information concerning registered sex offenders

The Texas Department of Public Safety maintains the sex offender database for the State of Texas.  This database can be accessed by clicking on the following link: Sex offender database.   Here you will find a link to the DPS sex offender database search page.  To begin, click on the word "Search" under the title, "Sex Offender".  At the bottom of the "Search" page, click on the "read and agree" link to access the actual search form.  You may search by offender first and last name, city and zip code, or by zip code only.  The zip codes for TCU are 76129 and 76109.
