     All Texas Christian University police officers are licensed by the State of Texas and are fully qualified law enforcement officers. TCU police officers possess the same police powers as do municipal authorities.  Specialized training to enable a better understanding of the nature of policing on a private university campus is mandatory for all TCU police officers.
